8/28/2008  Horse Lovers
the good:  Positive Atmosphere
the bad:  You get dirty shoes at the end of the day
the details:  At the end of the camp summer season at the Flying G Ranch, my seven year
old son said " I can't (Five Star Rating)wait for next summer for me to go to the Flying G
Ranch again!" There are many aspects of the Flying G Ranch that makes my son's
experience a delight each summer but one is the atmosphere that you can be, act, and feel
the best that you can be in the environment of horse lovers. He has his favorite horse
named "Dusty". He has re-named him "Dusty Wusty" in keeping with the nature that
everyone at the summer camp gets a nickname. My son had a story everyday about Dusty
Wusty or a camper, or one of the staff. The story usually began with a drama and ended
with a funny resolution. One day when I picked him up from camp, he cried all the way
home. I tried to calm him but he would not be consoled. The problem was that on that day I
was unable to pick him up at the scheduled closing time and I had arrived 15 minutes
earlier. He could not forgive me for a while for having taken him away from the camp those
moments that were precious to him. I had interrupted his kick ball game for goodness
sake!!

7/24/2008  Flying G Ranch is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!
the good:  Great and helpful staff, wonderful horses, total rewarding experience. I could not
be happier with my child going here for 4wk camp and maybe lessons
the bad:  They only complaint can not be helped because it is the mud
the details:  Flying G Ranch is a wonderful place. Their horses are very well trained and well
behaved. I could not be any happier. We have been for four weeks of camps so far this
summer and will be back one more before summer ends. We are even thinking about
doing lessons there during the school year. The staff is very helpful and kind. It is just a
wonderful place that there is not enough time, space, or words to tell you.

the details:  Wonderful, Christian run horseback riding camp thoroughly enjoyed by my

taught along with care and enjoyment of horses. We will definitely sign up for more.

7/17/2008  Meeting God through horses
the good:  well run professional program, spiritually grounded, convenient to Dallas/Ft
Worth area
the bad:
the details:  I am pleased to give an outstanding rating to the programs at the Flying G
ranch. The instructors are very knowledgable with regards to horses and safety around
them. They also tie scripture into the daily lessons which puts the program way ahead of a
simple riding camp.
